Abstract
|
|
|
The authors have diagnosed and treated the five cases of tumors originated from the submaxillary glands.
The two cases of mixed tumors in the 28 and 44 years old korean women, two cases of the adenocar￢cinomas in the 48 and 55 years korean men, and one case of plasmacytoma in the 49 years old korean man had been observed.
1. The two cases of mixed tumors have been eliminated by means of the total resection of the involved submaxillary glands.
2. The two cases of adenocarcinomas have been conquered by means of hemimandiblectomies and total excision of the involved submaxillary glands.
3. The rest of plasmacytoma have been treated by means of total excision of the involved submaxillary gland.
